Health Care "Reform"???

There's been alot of buzz about changes in our health care system. People saying that its "broken" and that people aren't getting the care they need because coverage is "too expensive". Now, I agree that, like everything else humans do, the system could stand some changes. But not a complete revamp! Although the People have spoken out against this "change" in various Town Hall meetings, our government decides to ignore us once again and stick its big nose and slimy fingers deeper into our lives! SO, that's my opinion in a small paragraph....as they say, "A picture is worth 1000 words", so here's a cartoon that may explain a bit more, courtesy of yours truely...(I'm sure some of you in the audience will agree).

A Fresh Look!

I've decided to update my blog's look finally! Add a little here, take a little away there....(something we don't do with the Word!). Anyway! I hope its pleasing to the eye. It could probably stand a few more changes, but it can wait.

Graduation...FINALLY!

So after an 8 month medical training course-I'm finally finished! :) When I first started I thought- Man....8 months....thats a long time! Its funny though...the time just seemed to fly by, and now- I'm done!

For those of you who don't know....I attended a "tech. school" here in sac called High-Tech Institute for 8 months to obtain my Medical Assisting diploma. I'm proud to say that while holding a full-time job I completed my course with an "A"! And I only missed two days out of my whole tenure. So now its job hunt time! Wish me luck and keep me in your prayers.

BTW...Like a dweeb I totally forgot to get ANY pics at my grad ceremony! However, what I do have is a video of when I walked the stage to get my diploma. In it, you'll clearly hear my good friend Mike Leon yelling all loud and then.....well I'll let you find out! LOL!

I am FREEE to run!.....

I have some rather happy and exciting news! Some of you may have known this... In July when I was still driving around town in my illegal VW Jetta, I got a ticket while on my way to work for my registration being expired! I was told to appear at Ryan Caputo's good friend's abode...AKA The Carol Miller Justice Center. I was told that the fine would be $201.10 if no proof of correction was provided.

While waiting for my court date to arrive I registered my Jetta as "junked" with the DMV, sold it and got a copy of the bill of sale hoping it could be used as proof of correction. On the day of my trial...lol (little exaggeration there)...I stood in line for ever, checked in and went into the court room with all the other fellons. Since I was one of the first to check in, my turn was up before I knew it! My heart was pounding so hard! The judge was a nice lady, she read my conviction and instead of asking how I pled right away ( which was my prior experience), she asked if I had my registration with me. I told her I didn't but had a bill of sale. The baliff took it from me, she stared at it a bit........And let me GO! :) No big ol' fine to pay. I was so happy! Feels so good to be FREE!

Friends, neighbors, fellow American citizens.... Greetings!
Just wanted to post to say "Whats Up?"...I have to admit...I've kinda become bloged out! Things have certainly become dull around these parts! HA!

Well, anywho...how is everyone??? Any stories to share? Anything exciting?

As everyone knows, Christy IS back...so I'm doing much better as far as that goes!
Work is going good...learnin alot. Gets kinda boring, as work can every now and then. I'm looking to start a second job soon...need the dough! I'm hoping to land a "Specialist" postion at Apple. (Part time). Mike Leon has been helping me out on that. Thanks a ton Mike! You're the best!
I'm doing my best to read more. I love books but can never seem to finish the ones I want to read!

Kate and Phil's wedding coming up on Saturday...I'm happy to say I have the honor and privilage to be involved in the ceremony. :)

Speaking of weddings....I'm pleased to announce...SIKE! LOL! Seriously though, my time is coming SOON! I'm not just lollygagin' around...I'm working on getting the preliminaries taken care of. Very important things! So as much as I would love to be married next week....I'm doing my best to be patient and let the Lord help us as we work through these rough spots...nothing relationally just pratical stuff. So my friends thank you for all your antisipation and enthusiasum. Trust me I'm more thrilled than all of you combined!

Ever Been Lonesome?!

I MISS MY GIRL FRIEND!!!!

Have any of you ever been lonesome? I mean like really really bad!? I dont know about you, but I have! And I still have two more days to go!

My most favorite person in the whole wide world has been gone on vacation since Tuesday and I wont get to see her until Monday! :( Thats sooo sad! Even though I'm around my friends there is still that missing part.

I don't know. Maybe I'm just being a baby, but hey what can I say?! It's just tough when you see someone you care about that much practically every day for about a half year then don't get to see them for a whole week! Very tragic!

So I'm marking off the days! LOL... Not that many to go...excuse me.... I cant wait to see you, beautiful! ....ehem....
